Toxicity Rating
Our Toxicity Rating is based on a product's inclusion or lack of substances that are toxic and/or harmful to human health and the natural environment.
The rating is formulated according to a product’s toxicity relative to other comparable products within a given category.
The higher the Toxcity Rating, the less toxic the product.
Not all product categories have Toxicity Ratings because not all products, by their nature, are toxic or prone to contain measurable amounts of toxic material. Some products may not feature a Toxicity Rating because we are currently unable or in the process of determining the toxicity of the product.
